Guided walkthroughs
We invite you to join our certified inspectors for a walk through of the property at the end of the inspection. During your walk through feel free to let the questions fly as you and your inspector discuss the findings and concerns. Our inspectors also use extra lap around the home to reinforce their findings for your report.

Chris Berg, the owner of Inspections Kaua`i, is the Island’s most experienced home inspector. He is Kaua`i’s only ASHI Certified Inspector, and Certified Residential Thermographer. He is also Kaua`i’s only inspector to pass the National Home Inspectors Exam. Chris has over 30 years of building experience and has been inspecting homes for over 18 years — he knows what to look for, and how to interpret his findings.
Chris arrived on the west side of Kaua`i shortly after Hurricane Iniki in 1992. He was able to assist many families in rebuilding their homes. A few years later, he found a lead position at a small development firm on the Southside of Kaua`i. For the next 17 years, he designed and built custom homes. He was responsible for all phases of construction and handled the position in a hands-on manner. Every home he built was an opportunity to learn something new. The lead position was a good foundation and companion to persue a career in home inspection. In 2002, after completing a home inspection course at one of the most well-respected inspection institutes, he started a home inspection firm to assist the home buyer. From the onset, he has worked hard to improve his inspecting skills. He routinely takes classes to keep current with building practices. He is now fully dedicated to Inspections Kaua`i and ensures top-level service to all his clients.
